what would you pay for city cycle hire?

what would you think of, or contribute to, a scheme to see old/unused bikes repaired (or made available for repair) in a bike recycling scheme that made them available to those who needed them in Hobart?

I will miss the place (I'll also be making regular trips back, too), but I have been successful in my application for the position in Melbourne. Start date at this time is looking like July 13. I'm looking forward to new challenges and especially to life with my new partner.

According to Bicycle Victoria, nearly 400 pedestrians were fined for running the red in a 4 day police blitz in Melbourne's CBD...19 May 2009. Contrary to expectations, almost 400 CBD pedestrians were nabbed for defying the red light in a four day police blitz, far more than the number of bike riders caught.

Announcement: Google UK Using Trikes to Update Streetview

We all know cars can't reach the parts where the birds twitter and the sun shines, so Google in the UK has added some heavy hauler trikes to update street view in mews and paths. Now I REALLY want to work for Google! ;)
